Harry Breene
Watson, age 80, of Logan, Ohio went to be with the Lord Friday, February 5, 2010 at Logan Health Care Center, Logan, Ohio
after a brief illness.
Born August 7, 1929
in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of the late Henry D. and Mary Teresa (Breene) Watson. After the death of his mother,
Harry was raised by his grandmother, the late Fanchion M. Breene.
Harry was a career naval seaman, having retired from the U.S. Navy. He was a 1950 graduate of Logan High School and a member
of Saint Paul Episcopal Church in Logan.
He is survived by two daughters, Mary Katherine (Richard W. "Rick") Kennard of Rockbridge, Ohio and Teresa
Ann (Keith D. "Doug") Walker of Logan, Ohio; three grandchildren, Jared (Britny) Kennard of Murray City, Ohio, Kyle
Kennard serving U.S. Army in Louisiana & Emily Kennard of Rockbridge, Ohio; one brother, Charles "Rusty" Watson
of North Tonawanda, New York; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Jo (Gano) Watson (1993) and his grandson, Justin M. Kennard.
Burial will in Oak Grove Cemetery in Logan, Ohio to
be announced at a later date.
There will
be no visitation observed at the funeral home.
