Delmar Loyd Allison, aged 77 of Logan, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, February 22, 2026.
Born February 13, 1949 in Logan, he was the son of the late Arch “Doc” and Nellie (Kline) Allison.
Delmar was a 1967 graduate of Logan High School and retired from Kroger in Logan after 43 years of service. He was a life member of the Logan Amvets Post 1776, American Legion, Ohio State Highway Patrol Auxiliary and Ohio National Guard. Delmar loved motorcycle trips, country music, farming and making hay, and spending time with his family.
Delmar is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Karen D. (Andy) Allison; two sons, Jason S. (Julie) Allison of Logan and Lance J. (Michelle) Allison of Albany, Ohio; three grandchildren, Jaide (Joey) Lawson, Dylan Allison and Karah Allison; two sisters, Elizabeth “Liz” (Don) Helber of Sugar Grove, Ohio and Muryl “Kay” (Mike) Villers of Logan; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Delmar was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald Allison and Buryl “Ray” Allison; grandson, Cody L. Allison; and in-laws, Willie and Esther Bare.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 27, 2026 at Roberts Funeral Home- Logan, officiated by Pastor Yahreen Collins.
Entombment will follow in New Fairview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Good Hope Twp., Hocking Co., Ohio.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, February 26, 2026 from 4-7 PM and from 10-11 AM on the day of service.
